Would you like to impress me with skincare? Tell me it’s from Croatia. Want to reel me in for the long haul? Add something about natural ingredients and a family business. Want to see total excitement? Mention it’s from Istria! Oh, yes!
NASHE organic skincare is handmade natural beauty from the historic city of Pula in Istria. The products are made using only the finest natural ingredients, free from parabens, silicones, and artificial fragrances. The brand is cruelty-free, tested exclusively on people—most often on the founders, Meri and Monika, who create both the formulations and design. Their dream was to create skincare that is natural (NAtural) and based on butters (SHEa), giving rise to the NASHE brand.
A Fantastic Find from Pula
I discovered the brand through the Jemo.cz e-shop, which offered me a collaboration I eagerly accepted once I found out what skincare we were talking about. Coincidentally, I was reading the email from Jemo while having a burek on the go, strolling past the calm Adriatic Sea, and chatting with my partner about where we would go that day. Stylish? Absolutely!
Since NASHE was completely new to me, I was recommended a gift set featuring the five most popular products from the Magnolia range. The set included a body and facial scrub, perfume oil, lip balm, magnolia body butter, and a bath bomb. My first impression? Everything is cute, sweet, and girly! It’s like a blend of a childhood memory and a visit to a candy store where you get the most exquisite treats. And trust me, they’re extremely addictive!

Let’s take this step by step. Just need to sit a bit further from my laptop so I don’t slobber all over the keyboard while I write.
Magnolia Perfume Oil
Perfume oils aren’t new to me, having encountered them with brands like Frais Monde. However, the dropper packaging is a first, and I must say I really like it. It’s not only practical but more hygienic, and it dispenses the scent more easily than trying to apply it with a fingertip by tipping the bottle upside down. This is far simpler. Just a drop, rub it in, and done.
How’s the perfume oil?
What surprised me most was how strong the scent is. This oil is on par with a classic perfume bottle—it’s that potent! And I guarantee you’ll still smell it the next day, on your clothes and your bed, and basically anywhere you touch. I’d say you’ll only need to reapply 1-2 times a day, just like a regular perfume. And don’t worry, it’s definitely not headache-inducing, even if you overdo it.
The bottle holds 30 ml, and just 1-2 drops are more than enough for one application. Two if you want the scent to be more pronounced.
Interestingly, the perfume doesn’t change much once it’s on the skin. At least that’s the impression I get. It stays pretty much the same as when you first apply it. It might soften the top notes slightly, but the fragrance remains very identifiable. And it’s non-greasy—it absorbs fully, leaving only the scent behind while the oily “carrier” disappears.

My Thoughts on the Magnolia Scent
Now, for the most important part: what does Magnolia smell like? To me, it’s reminiscent of Mon Guerlain, but sweeter, more intoxicating, with a dash of jasmine, vanilla, and the essence of a warm Adriatic evening. Magnolia smells like the Croatian coast.
Imagine a summer evening. A light breeze tousles your hair as you sip a glass of vermouth, chatting with friends. You tap your sandal-clad foot to the rhythm of Croatian music drifting from a restaurant down the street, where a local band is playing. It’s summer. You’re on holiday. No worries, just the moment. And right now, it feels perfect, and you wish it would last until sunrise. That’s the essence of NASHE Magnolia—pure joy, right here, right now. So intoxicating and addictive.
Magnolia Body Butter
Body butter? Pfft! This is no ordinary body butter—it’s not the dense, hard-to-scoop kind like the one you find in other brands. NASHE’s version is a luxury treat that feels more like a soft, whipped confection from a patisserie. You’ll want to lick it off your back!
The texture is definitely not stiff. It’s light and airy, like a fluffy cloud. When it touches your skin, it melts into a fragrant oil. The scent is unreal! I’d describe it as a blend of jasmine, hyacinth, and narcissus—a delicate floral composition reminiscent of spring flowers awakening. It’s like the feeling you get when you spot the first flower of the season in your garden after a long winter.

A unique fragrance you’ll fall in love with.
This body butter is truly indulgent, with a fragrance so distinctive you’d recognize it anywhere. If a man had a mistress who wore this scent, he’d have to get it for his wife too, because it’s unforgettable. And if you apply it before bed, your whole bed will smell just like it. Ideal for sentimental types in relationships—whenever you bury your nose in your partner’s pillow, you’ll be reminded of them!
I do have one tip though—because of its light texture, you might be tempted to slather it on in a thick layer. Don’t! Use it sparingly, so you don’t end up greasy. The whipped texture is deceiving, and it’s still plenty nourishing and moisturizing with just a small amount. Oh, and you don’t need to apply it to damp skin. It absorbs wonderfully on dry skin.
Magnolia Body and Face Scrub
Hallelujah! This is exactly how the perfect scrub should be! No more dealing with oil separating in the bottle or having to scrub off the sticky residue left on the lid. NO! It’s possible to get it right, like NASHE does, with a fantastic creamy texture that’s like cake frosting, with a soft but distinct texture of sugar particles.
I’ve had my share of sugar or salt-based scrubs, but this one takes the crown. No need to mix anything with your finger, and no risk of greasy rings forming under the jar in your bathroom. This is what I want to see from scrubs!

The scrub smells similar to the body butter, but it’s noticeably sweeter and more indulgent due to the sugar content. It’s more dessert-like, and you don’t get as much of the floral scent. The use is super convenient—apply it to damp skin, massage for a few minutes, rinse, and you’re done. And you won’t need to moisturize after! It acts as a two-in-one product, leaving your skin feeling soft and nourished without any extra work. Perfect!
Lollilip Lip Balm
It wasn’t until writing this review that I noticed the wordplay in the name. I wanted to say “lollipop,” but it’s actually “lollilip.” Cute, right? :o)
I generally find lip balms like this to be quite similar to each other—you apply it with your finger, it’s smooth, and it keeps your lips nicely moisturized. NASHE’s lip balm deserves a star for its fragrance or taste. And it’s a bit ironic! Why?
It tastes like a super concentrated marshmallow with strawberries. And I actually like it! I usually dislike marshmallows—they’re too foamy, overly sweet, artificial, and bleh. But this one? It’s delightful—just the sweet memory of childhood without the typical marshmallow aftertaste.

A Trip to the Candy Store
You know which candy I really don’t like? Marshmallows. I can’t stand how they’re so fluffy, weird-tasting, overly sweet, artificial, bleh. I don’t buy them, I don’t eat them, bleh-bleh. And do you know how Nashe’s lip balm tastes? Like super concentrated marshmallows with strawberries. But I actually LIKE IT! I don’t know how the girls at Nashe managed it, but it’s totally missing the typical artificial taste and bitterness of marshmallows, leaving just a lovely childhood scent, with the bonus of fresh mashed strawberries. Awesome? Hell yeah!
Also, it seems like this balm doesn’t get “eaten” or “drunk up” quickly; it surprisingly keeps your lips moisturized for a long time, which is nice. Oh, and it doesn’t melt in the heat. Good to know, especially with this weather where even flies’ wings are burning off.
Magnolia Bath Bomb
I admit, I waited until the last day before releasing the article to test the bath bomb, and only then did I finish writing the article. Because I’m not a suicide risk to fill the tub in 35°C shade. And using it in a hot tub or the sea seemed a bit off. Although… I did imagine having fun with the bath bomb in the waves on the coast… muhehehe 😀 But today (in the evening), it’s a lovely 16°C outside, which is perfect for a relaxing bath.
I’ve tried a few bath bombs before, but most of them just fizzled out quickly and either didn’t do anything at all or left me expecting a more fun experience. More color, or at least fragrance. Because I don’t know about you, but I can’t take a bath in clear water. I just can’t. I need bubbles, color, or something. Weird? Yeah, what can I do 😀

To Paradise and Back
Nashe’s bath bomb surprised me by turning the whole bathroom into a heavenly scented paradise, where you just want to lounge for as long as possible, even though the water is cooling down and you’ve already finished your book half an hour ago. I really liked that the bath bomb dissolved very slowly and for a long time (at least 15 minutes!) and created a gentle creamy foam that covered the surface (which is what I want!).
And when I got out of the tub, my husband immediately asked what fragrance I was wearing 🙂
Nashe Magnolia – My Overall Review
When I read in an email that Nashe is supposedly the most fragrant natural cosmetic line they’ve ever encountered in the store, I was a little skeptical. After all, doesn’t everyone say that? That this or that brand is the top, and the scents are divine, and so on. But after trying it, I have to admit they were right.

I don’t remember ever coming across such a fragrant cosmetic product. And it’s natural! I mean, sure – authentic scents like chocolate, vanilla, citrus, or something similarly singular are pretty common in natural cosmetics. And those are the kinds of fragrances that make you go “oooh” and you have to resist eating the products. But Nashe smells different. Like a real perfume, one that you can daydream about, and you could make it your signature scent that’ll have men turning their heads. I’m thrilled!
And to top it all off, there’s the Istrian Pula! Woohoo! I highly recommend checking out the Croatian brand NASHE – it’s totally worth every penny, and it’s the sweetest surprise in natural cosmetics that’s come my way lately ❤
